About 30 P. parvulus have been lost within a few days. They were privately imported by H. Linke and distributed to four experienced specialists. Some of the fish developed funghi within days and all died in short time. The cause is unclear. In my opinion the fish must have been infected in their natural waters already. There are some observations (and more rumours) of poisonous immissions in rivers by plants or companies of different kind. A second import of twelve parvulus stemming from a different location remains entirely healthy.
