    Hello,

    I need your help to identify my Paros. Sorry the pictures are not. Pic 1 shows my alpha male, pic 2 the female, pic 3 subadult female, pic 4 another male. I bought the fishes at Kölle-Zoo Lu-Oggersheim in March 2011 as P. deissneri. I think they look like P. bintan. Because the male shows no red coloration and white pectoral filaments, the blue coloration of the fins is not as bright as on pictures of P. harveyi. The female gets nearly white with dark fins during mating.

    Please try to shoot more pics with brighter light. I can’t see enough details in the pics to even hazard a guess.

    Hello, it seems to, that we all have the same “P. deissneri” 🙂 I bought mine paros in June 2011 and they look Very similar to Yours. I also seen many pictures in the internet with paros named “deissneri” and they all looks similar 🙂 Some P.bintan group ? You can see my paros in topic ” P. deissneri? ” I will take few more pictures for better view 🙂 Besides this, they are a very beautiful paros …Greetings!
