hello my name is Alessandro and I write from Italy. I am 23 years old and currently I have three aquariums. Until two years ago I had a passion for the aquascape and I have participated in many competitions ( http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org/2011/show290.html ) but now I prefer to fish.
I also love the Kalimantan .
Now I have an aquarium for red cherry ( 50x25x30cm ) , a tank for Betta channoides ( maturing ) and a third tank (62.5 x 34.5 xh 38.5 cm) prepared as Kalimantan tengah peat swamp biotope for 15 Boraras brigittae . ( set up two years ago).
The tank is 70 liters and has woods and beech leaves , plus there are a lot of floating plants ( Salvinia molesta and Azolla piinnata ) and a lot of Bolbitis Heteraclita and Selaginella emerged.
    The pH is 5.44
    The conductivity 45 µs/cm
Food fish with Artemia salina, banana worms, vinegar eels , granulated and peas.
Unfortunately I only males Boraras and I can not reproduce :S
So I thought I in the tank can accommodate even the Parosphromenus. In the shops there are only wild exemplary but I prefer the exchange between users! What do you think? is it possible?

Welcome Allessandro! Other Project friends may be based in Italy and i hope they will contact you and be able to meet your request. If not, I would not avoid buying Parosphromenus Sp. from your local shops, but ask the shops to order them in for you to ensure that you are not buying stock that has been held for too long in stressful conditions. I am assuming you would intend to breed these fish (so you will need a seperate tank away from the Boraras for that purpose),and thus it is better that you rescue trade fish from others who would merely consume them as ornamental decoration. You obviously have experience with planted tanks, but be sure to follow the advice available on this site which prioritises low pH and almost zero KH. Good luck!
