Light, allthough our litle friends do not need much of it. I am used to lighting tanks at about 0,5 Watts/Ltr. Clearly that would be overkill on a Paros tank. Wat i wandering about is how much do you guy´s lifht your tanks (if at all) and what kind of sytem are you using.

Paro-Aquariums are standing in shelfs, I use 1x T5 8W for single 25l (40cm) and 1x T8 36W for two 45l (50cm). Aquariums are very dark, because the surface is covered with Salvinia and Mayaca and they are filtered with peat.

Don´t be sorry about the picture´s being upside down too much, At least for this question it is no real matter.
I use a minimalist solution – small LED-lamps from a well known Swedish furnishing house ……. You can get these lamps in two versions: with a heavy foot or as a clamp spot, both versions having a flexible, adjustable lamp arm. This makes them very versatile – you can change the angle of light by adjusting the arm, and you can clamp the spot to a shelf above the tank, and so on. They have an energy consumption of 3 W and their light colour is warm white (3000 Kelvin).
