At our last big update, we tried to install something more advanced in the profile area, – making it easier to send personal messages between users etc – but this has not been used at all, and had some annoying side-effects, so I have recently had to unistall that component.
One effect of that is that whatever image you may have previously uploaded as your profile image, now has to uploaded again …
