PROJECT

census-participation

Participation:

Basics:

Anyone who keeps at least one licorice gourami species, should take part in the census, so we get a realistic picture of the stock. The census is held twice a year during one full month: in spring in April and in autumn in October.

The participation is easy: there is no form or template anymore. Just send an informal e-mail about the own stock to census@parosphromenus-project.org.

How to do it:

1.) Regarding the names of species or varieties, please use the names mentioned in this website (see „species“ and „other species“).

2.) If possible, name the number of breeding pairs (BP), number of singular fish (sex) and the approximate number of eventual fry.

3.) If a confirmed locality name is available for your original fish, please indicate this. If no information is given here, we will regard the fish as coming from trade

4.) If you want to add further details (particularities, generation, etc.), we are thankful for every information. If the former owner of the fish is known, this information can be added, too. Often important relations can thus be derived.

We are looking forward to receiving your information! Even small stocks are valuable!
