The access problem: a question was created by Peter Finke
Most localities where Parosphromenus fish have been found lie relatively near to a road which allows access. There have been very few “expeditions” into less accessible regions. But the number of roads is rather limited.
How should we imagine the country “beyond the roads”? I should be interested in how you estimate the percentage of land with difficult access that could still be within the home range of Parosphromenus fish? Is it high up to the present day, or has it fallen to a relatively low level due to forest destruction and other kinds of “development”? It’s not a plea for more roads, but a wish to understand, only.
