Hi everyone,

I m back with an extreamly happy update. When I came back from school today, I went straightly downstairs to have a look at the linkeis tank. I had been suspicious about seing sexy eyes in one of the females for some days but mostly thought it was something made up by my excited imagination.

Well… today, I found the first real bubble nest nicely put under a leave in the front of the tank. Even from the pictures taken with my digicam, and later very well under the microscope I could see some greyish embryos in the eggs.

I defenitely had to take some pictures though… And there we go:
Pic 4 is one egg at a magnification of 100x I think, the round structure on the left top is an eye.
Pic 5 is the same part at a higher magnificatipn (im not exactly sure but i think its 200x)
Besides this, I could record a video where you can see heartbeat and also few pigments.

I am surprised to see this wide developed embryos since I usally saw such a development only after a few days. Do you think these eggs are older than say 24 hours?
How long will they take to hatch?
