Possible it is, but not very likely. There are at least eight rather similar forms that we know from Jambi/Sumatra. Three of these have been imported in recent years, five not. And it is highly improbable that it’s gunawani. We only have one small stock of it in Europe.
Typical for gunawani is the multicoloured band at the edges of the unpaired fins, and its rather stout, robust body (in adult animals).
But if it is gunawani, then you are lucky and you must breed it; for the small stock in Horst Linke’s tank consists of females only!
