2012: May Horst Linke has returned to Germany some days ago from sout-east Asia. He visited among other destinations Bangkok and southern Thailand, Sumatra (especially Jambi) and southern Kalimantan Tengah (Borneo). He was accompanied by local experts, including P. Yap.
In a telephone call he told me that he brought some licorice gouramis, the most important perhaps spec. Danau Rasau from Jambi which he had found there in 2008 but which was lost again. Now we have new fish and can again try to propagate them.
But there are other new forms too; I have not seen them up to now. We shall comment on them in due time.
He was not able to bring new deissneri since he did not visit Bangka.
