Nice that it feedback and breeding of Phoenicurus gibthoffentlich sign up soon more.
So it is with me, I have removed the plants because they were not nice (Ph 3.5 to 3.8 as no surprise) and I simply replaced by a thick location leaves and even spawn Tweedei, Harvey, alleni and Rubrimontis from.
Sometimes it’s the simple things bring success.

Do it but be careful, it could bleach or preservatives may be included.
Alder cones, peat and oak leaves go.

Apple cider vinegar? I think that’s not a good idea, mixing vinegar can always be contaminated with other ingredients. Better is pure acid, hydrochloric acid or oak extract. If you give a lot of oak leaves in the aquarium, the pH value remains quite stable.

Yes true but mine are still too small, before March, they certainly will not spawn.
But maybe we will get someone else feedback

    Hi Davy
I will try again to breed ornaticauda, yet I have a few ornaticauda, but only the food must be better, from November it will be cooler then there are Cyclops in the ponds. It’s like anabolic steroids …………….. 🙂

It just goes with Flubenol. If you no longer feed them it will be less but they remain. Also a new aquarium will not help, somewhere is always a left and multiplies.

Ok, since 1973, which is long, because I can not keep up.
I have my Paros on rainwater 8-15 micro sims, but even then that happens sometimes, water parameters are always in motion and I do once a week water change after a water change is usually fixed.
When harvey I have already had, 1 male and 2 females, which were subsequently sold two clutches in a tube, so 60 to 70 eggs are then available. Of the male has dropped more than half on the floor and left to themselves.

No, this is related to the water hardness (Calcium) and Ph value. The air bubbles and the eggs are, the higher the water hardness is greater so I do not stick mehr.Weiß from personal experience, the phenomenon I had at times as I have grown splendens Betta yet, it was exactly the same. If I have used soft water remained the eggs in the nest.
But that happened to me today, when I remember it. A Wasserwechel and he collects the eggs and stick them back into the nest.

That’s all right, but it must organize someone to send Paros there are enough, but who wants to make it ?. It takes a big investment to containers to firstonce enough Paros.
One more note to “we have no control,” Of course, we rarely know who gets the Paros we send, but that’s not the point either. We have, at least I, always before contact with the customer and also large amounts of Paros are never given, 3,4,5 couples maybe. Can, it’s mostly about spreading Paros, buy they are rare, and if no one knows exactly where they come from. This is for most who are interested in Paros, the only way to get to fish.

I also think this is not an issue for our forum. 90% of all fish do not live in a beautiful habitat, at least not what we humans Rec Indians as well.
Paros live in Blackwater, are barely visible and thus not suitable for exhibitions.
