Well, I am often times a few days on the road, sometimes also 14 days.
If Paros are fed well, it is not a problem to leave them two or three weeks without food. But the water could be a problem. Too soft water would drop the Ph value over an extended period of time. It is better to mix the water with tap water before a longer trip, which keeps the pH value stable. This is, of course, not for young animals, which must be fed regularly.

I use peat and rain water, so any Ph value can be produced. Is cost-effective and simple

Wait for the water parameters, then you can still react. They spawn and they will continue to do so.
Do you have many plants in the aquarium? Also this could be the cause, plants can also be a cause for too high KH value, among other for this reason I have no plants except a few Schwimmpflanzen in my aquariums.

Correct, usually the KH value is too high, under 5 KH should be however no problem. In caves they spawn, what material are the caves made of?
Sometimes caves made of ceramics (flower pots) have a rough and porous surface and the eggs stick better if the water parameters are not “optimal”

No, Paros do not jump, I’ve often forgotten to close an aquarium. In my 20-year career as a paro breeder, 3 Paros jumped from the aquariums. So I think that the danger they jump out is very small, especially since your aquarium is quite high and has a lot of water and space available

    Hello Fredrik
These animals do not look out for Pahuesis, I’m curious about what’s going on.

I am your opinion Peter, the animals are still too young and not dyed.
But the second picture is at least similar to a Pahuensis.
The first picture is certainly something different. We wait for better pictures to say more about it.

Hm, the first impression of me ……….
The animals are very reminiscent of pahuensis, the dark spot is typical of this species. However, they are not dyed, perhaps still too young and the body shape also fits still or not so right

This will work safely, they are not as difficult and do not need extreme water values. Well, that we have another breeder for these beautiful fish.

Of course that was a little ironic.https://www.parosphromenus-project.org/media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png
Well, 400 kilometers are already around the corner, but who really interest for it is certainly not an insurmountable distance.

Ah, ok, is indeed an unusual name but if so that’s fine.
Have had an osmosis system in operation, since I only use rainwater for the last time 15 years ago. The did not have imaginative names, and were quite expensive and only brought so 50-80 L per day, since I had only a fraction of at aquariums and only 3 or 5 species, today there are 18 species in 40 aquariums.
