You can use a little bubble corner filter with peat granule on it.

My phoenicurus are too little, my old female from Martin Fischer is 3 times bigger than my wild male ! I hope he grow up quickly.

When I gave yeast to my Moina, I had fungus in my tanks on the glass.
I think it the same thing for you and micro worms. I don’t know if this fungus is dangerous for fish, probably not.
