Only a short answer, because I’m at work. PH was 6,2 very high. I’m in contact with an specialist in protozoon. He may give me some informations. Knut:-)

I got informations that Coleps spp. infesting the Paramecium culture may be the problem.

Yes Helene. Not always the parents of our Paros are the problem that the eggs or also larvae will not develop. A lot off other things can occur to them. Planaria, Saprolegnia or Infusoria e.g.
(Planaria is always a problem, you don´t see)!

This was I wanted to try next, too.
So I will built one which fittes into my small Paro-Aquariums.
I will report if that works with the larvae.
