The
PAROSPHROMENUS
PROJECT

SHOAL, ASAP AND IUCN

Working with the conservation of a tiny freshwater fish such as Parosphromenus is not something which we can do alone.

Partners are essential, and luckily there are many people and organizations now which focus on freshwater species and habitats.

In 2019 the Parosphromenus Project became Strategic Partner with Shoal, an organization which ‘Mission‘ is to stop extinctions and recover populations of threathed freshwater species in the wild’.

Around the same time, we also became Partners with ASAP – Asian Species Action Partnership, and through this also a member of IUCN.

Through these Partnerships we became involved in a project lead by Shoal ‘Saving South East Asia’s peat swamp fishes’.
